Logic Pro Users? Using MO-TT as an alternative to Ableton multi-compressor

I just wanted to write a quick article to say how impressed I am with the Slate Digital MO-OTT. On the Hyperbits Master Class, I really like the exposure to different platforms and techniques. Serik using Logic Pro and Zach uses Ableton. I like to follow along but I’m not skilled enough to pick up another plugin and translate settings unless it’s very close. I can hear why something is being used and the impact but I like to get my hand on the exact starting point and experimenting as a means to learn.

As a result, sometimes I feel like I miss out when I hear something very cool in Ableton. Especially when Zach demonstrates something fantastic and sounding great. For a long while, I explored options to find a good alternative to Ableton’s MultiComp with both upwards and downwards compression. I eventually found MO-TT and this is where my search stopped. It’s brilliant. It really helps in that I can dial in a similar setting used on the course, get a good starting point, and then experiment to see how it works.

If you use a different DAW to Ableton and want to follow along to your favourite artists, YouTubers, tutorials and more by dialling in settings similar to Ableton’s multi compressor, MO-TT offers a really good option.

As a future update to this post, I’ll A/B some settings to show you have they translate. I think you’ll be impressed.
